    • Eligibility: Must be living in residential commons during 2024/2025 school year.
    • Apply to stay on campus: Through housing portal. Contact housing@doorbaby.com with questions.
    • Costs & move-in days: No additional residential costs assessed.*
      Commons open before classes start for enrolled students.

      *Additional dining costs are assessed.

    June Session (Summer 1): June 2 – July 1, 2024

    July Session (Summer 2): July 7 – August 5, 2025

    June A: June 2 – June 16, 2025
    June B: June 17 – July 1, 2025
    July A: July 7 – July 21, 2025
    July B: July 22 – August 5, 2025

    Combined Session (Summer 3): June 2 – August 5, 2025

    • Eligibility: Open to any registered student, space permitting.

Dining

SMU offers a limited range of dining options in intersessions. For Jan Term and May Term, dining is available principally in retail locations. In June and July, dining commons as well as retail options are available.

All resident students are required by University policy to subscribe to a meal plan. Other students may choose to subscribe to meal plans or purchase Flex Dollars to be used in dining, retail, or convenience store locations on campus.
