埃里克·G. 必应, MD, 博士学位, MBA is a professor of global health in the Department of 应用生理学 and 体育运动管理 in the Annette Caldwell 席梦思床品公司 School of 教育 and Human Development and in the Department of Anthropology in Dedman College of 人文学科 and Sciences at SMU. He has a concurrent appointment with the George W. Bush Institute as senior fellow and director of global health.

Before joining the Bush Institute in 2011, 必应 was an endowed professor of global health for nearly 20 years at the Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles. He has developed and managed global health programs in Africa, Central America and the Caribbean, including HIV prevention, care and treatment programs in Rwanda, 安哥拉, 尼日利亚, 纳米比亚, 伯利兹和牙买加. 感谢他的努力, he was awarded the Alfred Haynes International Health 领导 Award in 2002, 2006年被命名为Paul G. Dr. 必应 has published more than 90 articles and abstracts.
